Kart Keeper Competition!

Have you got the skills to create a truly exciting racetrack in Core Keeper? Want to be in with the chance of winning Steam voucher? Then you should enter our Kart Keeper competition! 

We want you to build an awesome racetrack in creative mode, record a video of you running the racetrack in a Go-Kart, and share it with us along with your world file using this form. The Core Keeper community management team will then select a winner to receive a Steam voucher prize!

The winning track, along with any stand-out runners-up, be shared with the Core Keeper community so that they can race along it too.

Competition Opens: 12pm BST, October 23rd 2023.
Competition Closes: 12pm GMT, November 27th 2023.
Prize: 1x £30 Steam Voucher (or nearest regional equivalent)

Submission Requirements:

• 1x video of you driving along a racetrack built in Core Keeper's creative mode.
• The video must not be more than 5 minutes long.
• You are free to add an optional voice-over or background music, but video editing should be minimal and not misleading or misrepresentative in any way.
• You must also submit your save file to validate your entry, and so that we can share it with the community!

Rules:

• This competition is limited to one submission per person. Please only submit one video and one save file per entry.
• Your racetrack must be built in creative mode.
• Mods are NOT permitted.
• You may work on an entry with other Explorers, but there will only be one prize winner, and we will consider the winner the person who submitted the entry via this form.
• Submissions close at 12pm BST on the 27th of November. Submissions entered after this time will not qualify. 
• If we find evidence of you creating multiple accounts in order to submit multiple entries, you will be disqualified from the competition. 

 

How to Submit a Save File:

• Once you have finished creating your racetrack, navigate back to the main menu of Core Keeper.
• Press "crtl + alt + b", this should create a copy of your Core Keeper saves on your desktop as a .zip file.
• Make a note of the number associated with the world you created the racetrack in and the character you used. 
  • You can see the world number in the "Select World" menu after clicking "Start Game".
  • You can see your character number in the "Select Character" menu after you start a world. 
• Open your Core Keeper Saves .zip file and navigate to the "worlds" folder, delete all the worlds apart from the one associated with your racetrack.
• Now submit this .zip file along with your video using the Submit Video and Save File field below.
